  • Kay's Quiche??

    Does anyone have this recipe? It is from the cookbook that was included with Phase 1 and 2 back in the late 1990s.

    Hi, Beeble! I searched the recipe archive with no luck. Our site's been hacked a couple of times over that period. We can still hope that somebody has it in their collection.

      Got It! My book is from 1997. If anybody needs anything from this book, just ask.

      Kay's Quiche
      Serves 6

      Ingredients:
      Butter, 1 tbsp
      Onion, raw, 3 tbsp minced
      Bacon, crisp, 4 slices
      Eggs, 5
      Spinach, frozen, 10-oz pkg chopped
      Cheese, 1/2 cup grated

      Directions:
      Thaw spinach and drain excess water ahead of time.
      Coat a quiche pan with no-stick cooking spray.
      In a skillet, melt butter.
      Saute' onion until clear; set aside.
      Cook bacon until crisp; crumble.
      In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs.
      Add onion, bacon, spinach, and cheese.
      Pour mixture into the quiche pan.
      Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

      Nutritional Values per Serving:
      Carbohydrates 3.1g
      Protein 14.6g
