You're right about the retreat food, Claudette! Coupled with all the sitting around that happens on a retreat, five pounds isn't surprising. It will soon disappear.

I agree with you about the effects of the music.

    Movers & Shakers - April 2016
Mmmm - April is here !

I was going to tie this month's challenge into last month's but I figured you were all smart enough to be able to do that yourselves . You all know that exercise only works if you work it....what you put into it is what you get out of it....the only exercise that counts is the exercise you many more adages would you like me to come up with ?

Moral of the story - use it or lose it! So let's get busy, folks - the month is already...

    Hi, y'all,

I have walked each day this past week.

Shadow, you won't believe what happened earlier this week.
At one of my appointments, during work, I chased a small poodle (and caught her), that got out as I was going into the door of my client's home in a residential area. Challenge: May 2016 Are you willing?
Of course you want to be healthy! You even have a great plan, but resolve quickly fades in the face of reality. Changing habits is HARD! It needs daily focus, which gets old by the third day. Everybody seems to have an answer, but is it the right way for YOU? Are you willing to find and follow what works for YOU?

    Let's do that this month.

My tried and true method is to log everything I eat. I use the FITDAY program. It can be tedious,...

    Hi, y'all,

My favorite tried and true method is to also log in everything I eat. Usually, just counting the carbs and staying at 40 or below do it for me.
But, I might look into some other tracking method. It seems the free ones you have to add a lot of stuff.

Looking forward to getting lighter this month.
